And the Award for Best New Movie Theatre Goes To...

While life is all about the unscripted moments, a fabulous screenplay is what makes a movie Oscar worthy. Here at Palmasola, we take care of the script so you and your guests can relax into the spontaneity of life. And now, we are excited to announce that we are adding effortless elegance and a little slice of drama to the Palmasola experience, with our cutting edge, in-villa movie theater, El Cinema.

After a day bathing in the sunshine or floating on the ocean at our private Punta Mita estate, you can now settle into movie night once the sun goes down.

Premiered in 2025 and with space to seat up to 25 guest or to welcome 40 guests with our combined seating and standing option, El Cinema is perfect for exclusive first screenings in paradise, trailblazing corporate events, momentous sporting moments with friends, or cozy movie nights with the family.

Designed by renowned architect Manolo Mestre and interior designer Ofelia Uribe, El Cinema offers the same timeless opulence and comfort as our beachfront villa. With a 120-inch super high-resolution screen that receives crystal-clear projection from an Epson 4K Ultra Short Throw Laser Projector with 4000 lumens and SONOS surround sound complimented by top-tier acoustics, fine-tuned by a leading acoustic design firm, you can enjoy movies just as the directors intended and feel like you are right there at the game, cheering on your team. Our Short Throw Projector also creates seamless presentations for business and team-building retreats.

We love to ensure your stay with us is perfect, so allow us to cater for your movie or sporting event in El Cinema with perfectly curated dishes and canapés.

Planning a first screening? We’ll match your movie’s theme with the cuisine. Hosting a corporate event? We’ll provide high protein snacks and freshly brewed coffee to keep you all focused and ensure there is a nourishing lunch waiting when your presentations are complete. Your team is in the knockout rounds? We’ll prepare guacamole and chips and all the best sports refreshments so you can keep your eyes on the game. And if you are vacationing with the family, our team will make sure there is warm, freshly made popcorn in all your favorite flavors to create a movie night that feels just like the real deal. Let us know your family’s beloved movies before you arrive or any sports events that you really want to catch, and we’ll have them lined up and ready to go.

If you needed another reason to make Palmasola your luxury vacation destination, or the stunning host of your next corporate event, let El Cinema, and the special memories it will undoubtedly create, be just it.
